The 'VIPER' is a sleek mid weighted lure, with a narrow profile and deep body. This is a very versatile topwater lure which has many different applications.
It can be worked like a traditional stickbait with a simple rod sweep. The bait dives sub-surface, creates a tight 'S' shaped swim pattern. It performs enticing darting movements, while rolling subtly from side to side.
Another great way to fish the Viper is to cast and retrieved at high speed; ideal for fast moving pelagics or fishing over reef flats in the tropics. It can also be trolled.
The lure has been designed to sit at a 45-degree angle at rest. This allows the nose to quickly dip, making it very tolerant to choppy conditions.
The 'VIPER' works well with most hook configurations, but is best with a treble in the belly and single in the tail. Double single hooks will result in a looser, more rolly action and double trebles will have a toned down stable action.
