An extremely versatile and easy to swim, diving popper. It has a narrow body with a slightly angled chin, resulting in a lure that bites into the water in nearly all conditions and has a very active action for a popper.
Short jabs produce a massive bubble trail and commotion, great for tropics fishing. Long rod sweeps will give a moderate bubble trail with a gentle side to side swimming action and slight body roll. If swept again before surfacing, the lure will continue this movement, but with even more erratic movements. This works particularly well for kingfish, whenyou want the attention grabbing effect of a popper, but need the right body movement to initiate the bite.
This lure also works really well both as a trolling and a cast and retrieve lure.
