The 'REAPER' is a very versatile, mid-sized surface popper, applicable to most fishing situations and target species.
These are more compact than the 'IGNITER' long surface poppers - great if fish are feeding on smaller baits.
Lure Action:
This lure has a medium cup that provides plenty of pop and commotion, but is small enough to be used for longer durations without fatiguing the angler.
Short jabs with produce solid thumps and bubbles, while a long sweep will result in a long bubble trail and wriggly swim.
Lure sizes, specs and recommended rigging:
The 'REAPER' can carry quite large hooks for its size and will work well with all hook configurations. A treble on the belly and single on the tail produces the most swimming action.
-175mm-60g. 5-7g hooks - 3/0 trebles, 7/0 Diablos, 5/0 Kudako Ringed or Single assist, 6/0 Decoy Castin' Singles.
-190mm-75g. 7-9g hooks - 4/0 trebles, 9/0 Diablos, 6/0 Kudako Ringed or Single assist, 8/0 Decoy Castin' Singles.
-210mm-100g. 11g+ hooks - 5/0+ trebles, 11/0 Diablos, 7/0 Kudako Ringed or Single assist, 10/0 Decoy Castin' Singles.
